About Us

FROM STARTUP TO EXIT

Big Lever Ventures builds high-efficiency, software-driven businesses—then helps scale or exit them. We specialize in seed-stage startups that leverage AI and automation to disrupt entrenched industries or unlock underutilized markets.

Our focus on capital efficiency, revenue-per-employee, and operating leverage aligns naturally with mid-market M&A dynamics. In addition to early-stage company building, we support founders and acquirers with strategic growth planning, financial readiness, and deal execution.

We’re not just advisors—we’re hands-on operators who understand what makes a company acquirable and what makes an acquisition work.

Our Thesis

OUR THESIS

TOTAL FREEDOM

In today’s fluid global economy, barriers to scale have collapsed. Data, talent, and capital flow freely. World-class tools, once gated by cost or geography, are now available on demand. This borderless environment favors agile operators—and sharp dealmakers. At Big Lever Ventures, we help founders build with this freedom in mind, and we help acquirers see around corners. Whether you're creating new categories or expanding into new markets, we bring an opportunistic, global lens to growth and consolidation.

PRICE SCHISM

We’re operating in a rare window when labor, technology, and capital inputs are cheaper and more flexible than ever. This compression creates powerful leverage for both builders and buyers. Founders can iterate quickly and cheaply, and acquirers can find undervalued innovation in overlooked markets. We work on both sides: helping early-stage startups position themselves for growth and acquisition and supporting buyers seeking strategically aligned, high-upside deals.

TRUE PARTNERS

Our role adapts to the opportunity. We provide strategic guidance, capital, and operational leadership across early growth and pre-exit phases. For startups, that means refining go-to-market strategies, improving KPIs, and preparing for diligence. For M&A partners, it means identifying targets, vetting deals, and supporting post-acquisition integration. We engage flexibly—through equity, co-ownership, or advisory agreements—but always to drive value and create optionality.

STARTUP ADVISORY

We help founders get off the ground and build real traction. Our portfolio and advisory clients have raised over $100M in seed and Series A funding.

As operators, we’ve personally led $15M in capital raises while serving as CEO COO or CRO.

We’ve also originated and closed over $70M in early-stage revenue for startups—turning vision into velocity.

TRANSACTIONAL ADVISORY

We’ve executed deals from both sides of the table—driving outcomes as operators and advisors.

As executives, we’ve led asset and technology sales, stock purchases, acquihires, and rollups—structuring deals that reflect both strategic value and operational reality.

As advisors, we’ve sourced buyers, negotiated terms, conducted diligence, and guided transactions to close—on deals ranging from $2M to over $100M.

We bring the same rigor, clarity, and commitment whether helping a founder navigate their first exit or supporting a strategic acquirer in a complex deal.
